Madison’s Newest UW Contracted Center!
Little Chicks Learning Academy is a new infant and toddler center conveniently located to serve the campus community, offering full and part-time slots. We are UW contracted and are also partners with the School of Medicine and Public Health. This partnership allows us to offer priority enrollment to faculty/staff and reduced rates for students!
We at Little Chicks Learning Academy offer an eco-friendly environment that reinforces respect for the global community. A few of the many actions The Academy is taking to provide a green setting for children and staff include:
- Offering healthy, organic snacks.
- Use of earth-friendly cleaning and laundry products that exclude harmful fumes and environmental toxins.
- Use of non-toxic art supplies.
- Cloth diapering - welcomed and supported.
- Meal purchasing through a contract with Bean Sprouts, a new kids café featuring freshly made organic baby and toddler food.
- Practicing the 3 R’s – reduce, reuse, and recycle!
Located less than 2 miles from the University Hospital, Little Chicks Learning Academy was designed with children in mind. From our child size facilities in the toddler areas to our separate nap rooms in our infant areas, children are sure to thrive in our custom-designed settings.
At The Academy, we partner with parents to create a nurturing and enriching environment in which children discover and grow in healthy and unique ways. We believe that open communication is the key to building this partnership and we value the insights parents provide. In addition to offering various opportunities to meet with families on a regular basis, Little Chicks Learning Academy has an open door policy and encourages families to visit as often as they would like.
